Football season has here, and if your family is prepared for the Big Game Day, food is a need for enjoyment. These Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Appetizers are ideal for sharing with your friends and family on game day. You are welcome to make as many as you like since I am certain that everyone will want seconds.

These puff pastries taste amazing! Making these appetizers is incredibly straightforward and simple. This dish has a delectable cream cheese center and an outer layer that is flaky and soft. Be sure to preserve this new recipe for future Big Game Days and other occasions since your loved ones will like it.

The fact that you can create a variety of delectable appetizer recipes and make it into a family fun night is probably one of my favorite things about appetizers. Set out some whimsical dinnerware, let each member of your family choose their favorite appetizer, and then provide a large grazing area with all of the savory dishes. In this manner, everyone may graze while unwinding and interacting. My Mozzarella Sticks, my Bacon-Wrapped Smokies, and my Baked Ranch Chicken Wings are some of my family’s favorite appetizers.

INGREDIENTS

Using the instructions on the package, defrost 1 sheet of puff pastry.
1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese and 7.5 ounces of softened whipped chive cream cheese
One big egg
a water splash
Optional garnish: thinly chopped fresh chives

INSTRUCTIONS

Turn the oven on to 375°F. Put parchment paper on a sheet tray and set it aside.

On a clear work surface that has been lightly coated with flour, roll out the puff pastry. the dough till it is 14×10 in size. Cream cheese should be evenly distributed over the area, leaving the long edge that is furthest from you and approximately an inch of the surface naked. Top with a sprinkle of parmesan. Roll the long edge closest to you tightly in the direction of the other edge. Close the seam with a pin.

Put the log on the sheet tray you have prepared. The simplest method is to create slits in the log using a kitchen knife or clean scissors, about every inch and halfway through. Make sure the bottom of the log doesn’t get cut off.
Pull the sliced pieces into points that are opposite one another all the way down the log, beginning at the top. Use the step-by-step pictures as a guide. Repeat these steps all the way down the log.
In a small bowl, mix the egg with a little bit of water by whisking. Apply egg wash on the plank. Until golden brown, bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve with additional chives as a garnish, if desired, after allowing to slightly cool.
