Garlic butter—the schmear you liberally pour on your bread before broiling—is the foundation of a fantastic garlic toast. My recipe is quite straightforward and just calls for a few basic ingredients. This will taste wonderful as long as you use high-quality components. (Actually, you really can’t go wrong with this even if you don’t.)

Margarine should not be confused with butter. Use only genuine butter in this recipe, for the love of God.

Finely mince some fresh garlic.

Not garlic salt, but pure garlic that has been dried and ground into a powder is what I mean by garlic powder. They are not interchangeable.
Fresh or freeze-dried parsley is OK. These freeze-dried herbs are wonderful!
I adore the combination of parmesan and cheddar cheese; it gives everything an additional cheesy bite that is delicious.

Homemade Garlic Bread Recipe
This recipe may be the simplest in the entire world. Simply be cautious not to let the bread burn beneath the broiler. Except for garlic bread, the rest is cake. Ha!

In a small bowl, combine the cheeses, butter, garlic, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
French bread should be cut lengthwise.
Make sure to properly distribute the garlic butter as you generously put it on the bread.
Broil bread on high for 3–5 minutes, or until it is crisp, golden, and bubbling, on a baking sheet coated with foil.
Then slice and serve after five minutes of cooling.

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Spread a uniform coating of butter mixture on the two cut edges of the bread after dividing it in half.

Broil garlic bread on high until it is golden, bubbling, and melted. Place it on a baking sheet lined with foil. To get it to broil evenly, you might need to adjust the pan. 12 on either side of the 24 thin pieces. 2 pieces make up 1 serving.
