Recipe for Cranberry Brie Bites

The perfect party appetizer or snack, these quick and delectable cranberry Brie bites are always devoured in no time!

INGREDIENTS

400 grams (14 ounces) of puff pastry,

pre-rolled;

1 softly whisked egg; and 150 grams (5.3oz) Brie,

6 tablespoons of cranberry sauce, and fresh thyme leaves for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS

Bake a baking tray with silicone liners or parchment paper and preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F.
The pastry should be unrolled, egg-washed, and then cut into about 40 tiny rectangles.

To create around 20 “doubled up” rectangles of pastry, stack one rectangle on top of another and continue with the remaining crust.

Bake for 10 minutes after setting on the prepared baking sheet. then remove from oven.
Place the Brie in thin slices on top of the puffs of dough. To melt the brie, return to the oven for a further 1-2 minutes.
A tiny dollop of cranberry sauce and a few fresh thyme leaves should be placed on top of each puff before serving.
NOTES The calorie count is for one cranberry brie bite.
