There’s something special about being able to call a thick smoothie that you consume with a spoon, a meal.

INGREDIENTS
Smoothie verde
1 frozen medium avocado
1 cup spinach in a bag
Bananas, cut into slices, one medium banana, one cup
1 teaspoon flax meal
frozen cauliflower florets, 1/4 cup
3 Medjool dates with pits
1.25 cups almond milk without added sugar (or more, to taste)
3 cups of sliced strawberries, 1/4 teaspoon of chia seeds, and 2 teaspoons of dry coconut flakes are the toppings.
Berry Smoothie
1.5 cups frozen strawberries, whole

50% of a medium banana
Plain nonfat Greek yogurt, half a cup
1 cup of orange juice, pure and simple (or more, to taste)
1/4 cup of granola, 1/4 cup of sliced strawberries, and 1/4 cup of sliced banana as toppings
Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie
2 cups of frozen banana slices (about 2 medium bananas)
Greek yogurt without fat, half a cup
a half-teaspoon of ground flaxseed
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
two teaspoons of organic peanut butter
1 cup of almond milk without sugar (or more, to taste)
1/3 cup sliced banana, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, and 1 tablespoon small chocolate chips serve as toppings.

INSTRUCTIONS
Put all of the ingredients for the smoothie bowl flavor of your choice in a high-speed blender. Depending on how thick you want your smoothies, start with half the recommended quantity of liquid and increase it from there.
For one to two minutes, blend on high, stopping occasionally to scrape off the edges. To thin down your smoothie bowl, add extra liquid.
Place smoothie into two bowls, then top with desired garnishes.
