Puff pastry ingredients, 375g/13oz
Six ham slices
6 pieces of cheddar cheese
18 asparagus spears, optional
1 beaten egg
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon

Instructions
200C/400F oven temperature. Roll out the puff pastry into a 14 inch-thick rectangle on a surface dusted with flour. then cut into 6 squares of the same size. For reference, arrange diagonally sliced ham (which may need to be chopped to size), three spears of asparagus per pastry, and a slice of cheese or two tablespoons of grated cheese on top.
The opposing corner of the puff pastry should be folded over and sealed with a fork by pressing down on the overlapped edge. Bring one corner over and brush the tip with beaten egg.

Place 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with paper, brush with beaten egg, and top with a combination of poppy and sesame seeds. Until browned, bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Fresh food is preferred.
