Mushrooms Roasted in a Browned Butter, Garlic, and Thyme Sauce

A delectable sauce of brown butter, garlic, and thyme is added to roasted mushrooms.
The tastiest side dishes use mushrooms, like these roasted mushrooms in a browned butter, garlic, and thyme sauce. Mushrooms have to be one of my favorite foods.

You just roast the mushrooms, brown some butter, add the garlic and thyme, and then mix the roasted mushrooms into the sauce for this dish. With mushrooms, garlic, and butter, you really can’t go wrong, and browning the butter just enhances the dish with its somewhat nutty flavor and aroma. Any dinner would benefit from these roasted mushrooms with browned butter, garlic, and thyme!

Ingredients
1 pound mushrooms (button, cremini, or other), cleaned
1 tablespoon oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer, toss with the oil, salt, and pepper, and roast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Remove from fire and stir in the garlic, thyme, and lemon juice after cooking the butter over medium heat until it begins to turn a wonderful hazelnut brown.
Add salt and pepper to taste and toss the roasted mushrooms in the brown butter.
