Garlicky Carrot Brown Rice

Call me Brazilian or something (I won’t be offended -‘wink’) but don’t you think that rice is the most perfect side dish to almost all meals?? Assuming you agree with me because you are still reading this post… it’s about time you get your hands on a delicious rice recipe to complete (and complement) all your meals.

This garlicky carrot brown rice is packed with flavor and much more nutritious then plan ol’ white rice (no offense cuz I like white rice too!), they both consist almost entirely of carbs however our beloved white rice has the bran and germ removed, which are the most nutritious parts of the grain.

By sautéing the rice with garlic, onions and carrots in oil, the flavors lock in which makes this rice simple irresistible!

It’s a very fragrant dish which invites people to gather around the table. Such a tasty rice and the perfect pairing to your meat of choice. Try serving with Baked Sea Scallops or this Chicken Spinach Pancetta for an exceptionally delicious meal!
