Breakfast Farro with Maple Cinnamon is a great alternative to porridge. Farro’s toothsome bite makes it a filling and healthful way to start the day.
In a bowl, Farro Breakfast porridge with blueberries and strawberries.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup farro

1 3/4 cup water

2-3 tablespoons maple syrup

1/4 cup skim milk

1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon fresh fruit such as berries or sliced bananas 

INSTRUCTIONS
Stir farro and water together in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cover and reduce heat to low, and cook for approximately 20 minutes, or until the faro is thoroughly cooked, the grains have puffed up, and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Combine the maple syrup, skim milk, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
Serve immediately with fresh fruit on top.
