Pasta with Mushrooms and Garlic Butter

With fall (and school schedules) approaching, I’m constantly on the lookout for quick and tasty pasta dishes and supper ideas. Plus, I was immediately curious when you added “butter” to the title, and I figured you may be as well!

Garlic with Mushrooms Pasta is a simple pasta dish to prepare.
I’m aware that mushrooms are one of those vegetables…wait, aren’t mushrooms vegetables? They’re one of those components that people either love or despise. I really despise it.

Fortunately for me, I am a huge mushroom fan. They are, in fact, my favorite pizza topping, since I am a complete oddball. And I’m sure I’ll be asked, “Can I make this without mushrooms?” Well…no. Yes, you absolutely could, but then you should probably just prepare another dish. On the internet, there are millions. Have you tried my Balsamic Chicken in a Skillet?

Anyway, if you’re not a huge mushroom fan, I’ll save the next dish for you. Let’s do this thing if you’re a huge mushroom person. To serve, a scoop of mushroom and garlic butter spaghetti

This Mushroom and Garlic Butter Pasta may be finished in about 30 minutes. It’s quite quick; but, as always, I recommend properly reading the recipe and having all of your ingredients on hand. It makes everything go more smoothly, and time is crucial in this situation.

It’s important to have basic components that pack a punch. Here are the main elements that give the dish its distinctive flavor:

Garlic \sCrushed Flakes of red pepper
Butter with salt & pepper
Parmigiano-Reggiano
PASTA WITH WATER AND BUTTER TAKES IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
This dish relies heavily on butter, so don’t skimp on it! It offers a velvety richness that olive oil, which would be an obvious alternative, can’t match. While oil can be used in this approach, you will miss out on the butter flavor.

Mushrooms sautéed with butter

This Is Made Even Easier With A Planning Head!
This Mushroom and Garlic Butter Pasta can be made in about 30 minutes, but if you plan ahead or are a meal-prepper, you can make it even faster!

You may prepare the mushrooms ahead of time by sautéing them and roasting them. When you’re ready to cook, you may effectively cut the time in half. When the pasta is done, toss it in with your buttery, garlicky mushrooms. If you’ve prepared the mushrooms ahead of time and they’re still cold, simply warm them up in a skillet to remove the chill. The remainder will be taken care of by the heated pasta!

PRO TIP: In this dish, seasoning with salt and pepper is crucial. Season the water and the mushrooms… You will have boring pasta if you don’t use a lot of spice.

Why do you keep the pasta water separate?
Pasta is another technique to add a layer of flavor to a dish. PLUS, the carbohydrates that the pasta releases into the water as it cooks assist to thicken the sauce and bond it to the pasta.

While this recipe does not make a traditional sauce, it does cover the pasta in taste and produce a silky thin sauce.

I also like to add crushed red pepper to this to give it a little kick. If you don’t like the heat, you may reduce it or leave it out entirely.

I hope you appreciate this quick and easy spaghetti dish as much as we do!
