Easy 20-minute garlic butter spaghetti that fits with just about everything!  It’s easy and excellent!

Meet your new favorite pasta in the family! Pasta with garlic butter and freshly grated parmesan cheese!
This buttered spaghetti is true comfort food in my view! I mean, it’s so wonderful that I don’t mind eating it by myself! But it goes well with chicken parmesan, creamy chicken with mushrooms, Tuscan chicken, and this chicken curry, to name a few.

It goes well with any protein, is a family-friendly side dish, and is quite adaptable.Doesn’t matter if you add a kick of spice or your favorite vegetables; it will all work!

Garlic Butter Pasta: A Step-by-Step Guide
The sauce for this pasta is all about technique; you won’t need any heavy ingredients to achieve a lovely creamy and silky sauce. In fact, we’re going to use pasta water! 

You’ll Need the Following Ingredients
It’s incredibly easy to make, and you only need six things that you probably already have on hand! Pasta, butter, garlic, parmesan cheese, parsley, and salt

The Instructions
Boil water and salt it in a medium saucepot. Cook your pasta according to the package’s directions. Drain the pasta and save 1 cup of the pasta water after it’s done cooking.
To prepare the garlic butter sauce for pasta, follow these steps: Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and softly cook the sliced garlic. Toss the heated pasta with a little of the pasta water, using kitchen tongs, until the spaghetti is coated in a thick sauce. Continue to tossing, adding additional pasta water as required.
Remove from the pan and stir in the freshly grated parmesan cheese and parsley leaves.

Continually toss and season with salt as required. Enjoy with more grated parmesan cheese on top while it’s still warm!

Ingredients

225g (8 oz) pasta

4 tblsp. butter (distributed)

3 garlic cloves, sliced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground

a quarter teaspoon of salt

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

a quarter cup of parsley

Instructions

Notes: A serving of 2-3 ounces of pasta per person is advised (60-85 grams).
To cook the pasta, season the water with salt, as if it were sea water.
You might not need all of the saved pasta water; as you cook the sauce, assess how much you’ll need.

Storage Suggestions
Refrigerate for up to three days in an airtight container.
Reheat the pasta in a pan over low-medium heat, and thin up the sauce with a dash of water. If you’re using the microwave, follow the same steps.
Freezer: This spaghetti breaks when frozen and reheated, so I don’t advocate freezing it.
