Oatmeal with Bananas and Chocolate

NOTES While this meal is fantastic for sharing with company, it’s also delicious when eaten alone. To make a single-serving dish, simply divide all of the ingredients by four.

INGREDIENTS

four cups of water

2 cups rolled oats (organic)

2 bananas, ripe yet not overripe

3 tbsp. peanut butter (natural)

1 tablespoon sugar (brown)

1/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped

DIRECTIONS

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil, then add the oats and simmer for three to five minutes. Place the oatmeal into four separate dishes with a big spoon or ladle.

Place the bananas on top of the oatmeal, thinly sliced. Finish by sprinkling 1/4 cup peanut butter, brown sugar, and dark chocolate over each bowl. Mix everything together with a spoon and enjoy.
