Bean Burritos

Bean Burritos

I always have the ingredients for this cheesy bean burrito recipe on hand. Cooking the rice and shredding the cheese the night before save precious minutes at dinnertime.

1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
2 cup salsa
1 cup cooked long grain rice
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
12 flour tortillas (6 inches)
Shredded lettuce, optional

Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine beans, salsa, rice and 1 cup cheese. Spoon about 1/3 cup off-center on each tortilla. Fold the sides and ends over filling and roll up.
Arrange burritos in a greased 13×9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese. Cover and bake until heated through, 20-25 minutes. If desired, topped with lettuce.

There are several benefits. In fact, it is very interesting to include in the diet, at any age. For example:

Helps fight anemia because it is rich in iron.
Is used to treat constipation due to its high fiber content.
It is rich in various vitamins, such as A, E and C.
It is very low in calories, so it is recommended for those who want to lose weight or maintain their weight.

Is common in salads, but we can also find it in burgers, pizzas, etc .. You can even prepare an infusion of lettuce that will help us sleep better. To do this, we need only about five leaves to boil in a pot of water. Later, we remove them and remain only as a result of liquid. This is what we need to drink before going to sleep.
