 Feel free to increase the quantity if you adore cinnamon.
If raisins aren’t your thing, feel free to omit them from the recipe. The best raisins are golden, red, or brown.

Recipe for Rice Pudding
Combine the ingredients in a pot. Milk, sugar, rice, salt, and cinnamon are whisked together in a small nonstick pot.
Heat without cover: Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Keep in mind that it will thicken more as it cools; if desirable, thin with a little milk.

Can you make it using leftover cooked rice?
Yes. With cooked rice, prepare:

For this dish, 3 cups cooked rice are required.
For 20 to 25 minutes, simmer.
Add more sugar to taste to sweeten.
What to Prepare in a Slow Cooker

 to do this:

To a 4 quart slow cooker, add 2 Tbsp of melted butter.
3 cups milk, 2/3 cup long grain rice, 1/3 cup sugar (or more to taste), 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 cup raisins, and 1/4 tsp vanilla should be combined.
About 4 to 5 hours on low heat with the lid on.

A delightful, vintage dish cooked precisely like grandma’s! Just five simple ingredients are needed, plus cinnamon and raisins if you like them. It’s creamy and luscious and quite simple to make.

Ingredients

3 Whole milk, 1/4 cup (770 ml).
3 45 grams of granulated sugar, or as desired, in 1/2 tbsp.
1/2 cup (100g) white rice with a long grain
more cinnamon for serving in addition to the 1/4 tsp (optional)
1/4 tsp (heaping) salt
1/4 cup (45g) Golden or brown raisins (optional)
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon

Instructions
Milk, sugar, rice, salt, and cinnamon are whisked together in a small nonstick pot.
Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, lower heat, and let simmer, covered, until rice is cooked and sauce has thickened, about 30 to 35 minutes (note that mixture will thicken more as it cools).
Turn off the heat, add the raisins, and whisk in the vanilla. Let alone for a few minutes before serving. Add extra cinnamon to the dishes.
Notes *Another sweetener, such as brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup, may be used.
