Not only is this recipe SO ridiculously yummy, it is also just as ridiculously easy. The process of the turkey burgers only includes a few steps, and we keep the guac extremely simple. Just avocado, lime, garlic powder, and salt. Because I know you all have busy lives and love those quick weeknight meals.

Alright so, as promised, I must share some of my travel adventure stories with you from this past weekend. There were some interesting turn of events in which I ended up making the very first flight to Charlotte on Saturday (YYAAASSSSS no waiting in airports for nine hour increments), BUT some other very…eventful…things happened.

I begin my tale on Friday night. Since the first flight left super suuuuper early on Saturday morning, I decided to drive to Kansas City on Friday night. I left work to head home right when school was over, thinking I would be able to get all my stuff done, hit the road to get to KC by a decent hour, and get some good rest. False.

For you 21 Day Fix people, here are your container amounts:

1 red container (turkey)
1 blue container (guacamole)
2 teaspoon (olive oil)
*The spices, lime juice, and garlic are “free”*


3/4 pound ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/3 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 avocados (3 blue containers when mashed)
2 teaspoons lime juice
3/4 teaspoons garlic powder
3 teaspoons olive oil

Mix the ground turkey together with the chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt in a medium bowl
Form into three patties
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 3 teaspoons of olive oil
Cook the patties, making sure they brown on both sides, until they are cooked through
Meanwhile, make your guacamole. Mash together the avocados, lime juice, garlic powder in a bowl. Season to taste with salt
Serve burgers with a dollop (1 blue container’s worth) of guacamole on each patty
