Eating A Green Salad Before, After, Or Along With The Main Meal?
Each alternative has its own benefits. Eating a green salad before your meal is better for weight-loss since you will eat all the healthy greens while reducing your appetite for the main meal.

Researches have shown that eating a salad after the main meal, aids digestion and help to cleanse your gut from foods that seem to stick to its lining, like meat for example.

Turn This Greek Lettuce Salad Into A Main Meal
Since this Greek Lettuce Salad takes only 5 minutes to make you can easily use it as a salad base and spare a few more minutes to add some toppings. If you’re on a low-calorie diet, you can top it with boiled chicken, eggs, avocado, beets, or crumbled feta. Add a few nuts of your preference and you’re good to go!

For The Dressing:
In a bowl whisk together all of the ingredients for the dressing.

Notes
-This isn’t supposed to be a soggy salad. Mix it up with the dressing, right when you are about to serve it. Do not let it stand as it will lose its crunchiness.
-Try and find a lettuce that looks fresh and crunchy with light green leaves. Don’t buy the very dark green and old ones.
