CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH HIGH PROTEIN

I like chocolate, and lately I’ve been attempting to use it in savory meals as well. Given that, I only use the darkest chocolate I can locate instead of the sweet types. On Friday, I made this high-protein chocolate smoothie bowl as an after-school treat, and my kids devoured it.

In order to prevent my toppings from sinking to the bottom, I make my smoothie bowls a little bit thicker than typical smoothies.

Smoothie bowls are a delicious breakfast option or even a healthy snack. There are countless varieties, and for this one I utilized supplies I already had. Hemp hearts are a current favorite of ours. Then I added some fresh fruit that I usually have on hand along with some chia seeds and chocolate nibs.

Anyway, I plan to upload another simple and nutritious dessert that I cooked over the weekend very soon. Every time I bake or cook, I always prepare two batches so we can eat it for a few days.

Not necessary on the same day, but at least once during the week, to avoid making it seem monotonous that we are constantly eating the same item.
Start creating your own smoothie bowls, though. I am aware that once you get going, you cannot stop. So nice, simple, and nutritious.

Enjoy!
