Blood Orange and Chocolate Oatmeal

I never get tired of wholesome oatmeal loaded with seasonal goodies like this Blood Orange and Chocolate Oatmeal. Made easily in the microwave and full of citrus flavor. {gluten free, vegan, dairy free}

Why do I love oatmeal so much? It’s so satisfying and loaded with nutrients…

high in fiber
rich in antioxidants
can help control blood sugar
contain vitamins and minerals like manganese, phosphorous, magnesium, and copper (from Healthline)
two bowls of oatmeal with blood oranges and chocolate

Add ½ cup gluten free instant oats to a bowl with about ½-3/4 a cup of water and a dash of salt. (Don’t skip the salt it makes it so tasty!)
Cook for 1 minute in the microwave and stir.
I like to add Califia plain almond milk until I get my desired consistency.
